Get another ride in after the Borah Epic while your child/children learn skills on the bike!

The American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation is again hosting a Birkie Youth Mountain Bike Camp with the WI High School Cycling League for youth ages 6-18 on Sunday, June 10 at the Fish Hatchery Park.

Coaches from the Birkie, Hayward Composite MTB Team, and the Wisconsin High School Cycling League will have your kids learning new skills, brushing up on old skills, and most importantly- having fun on a bike!  The Birkie Youth Mountain Bike Camp is geared (no pun intended) toward newer riders or those wanting to refine and refresh their basic skills.  Kids will learn in small groups of similar skill levels and gender.  Breakout sessions will focus on pump track riding, balance, braking, cornering, obstacles, and more.  Kids age 11 and up will venture out on the single track for the afternoon to put their newly honed skills to the test.  Demos and talks, snacks and lunch will be provided for everyone.
