Biking/Fat Biking, CAMBA New

New Moon On The Air

Here at New Moon, we’d like to think that everyone knows us or at least knows where to come for ski and bike information.

But we often like to get the word out in other venues to people who may not be as familiar with the Moon. Currently, we have a column in the Visitor Magazine, a local publication geared towards, you guessed it, tourists, about biking in the northwoods. Joel is a frequent contributor to Skinnyski.com’s trail report section and he has also been interviewed by Duluth and Eau Claire television stations about the shop and the American Birkebeiner. Chris has been interviewed by the Milwaukee State Journal in regard to recent weather patterns, and he has also been on Duluth television talking about area Fat Biking.

Our most recent outreach project is the Silent Sports Trail Report, a short radio show on two of Hayward’s local radio stations. WHSM Muskie Country, 101.1 and The Cabin, 96.9 will be airing the interview based report Friday and Saturday around 8:30am. First up, Chris will be talking about local biking trails and how you can get into biking if you haven’t experienced our amazing CAMBA trails here in Hayward and Cable. Future topics include getting your kids biking (possibly with a guest “kid reporter”) as well as information geared more towards skiers as we move into snowy weather. Here is a clip of this week’s show and stay tuned for future broadcasts.

Have a topic you’d like to hear Chris or Joel talk about in the Silent Sports Trail Report? Let us know in the comments.
