Many nordic skiiers are familiar with Bliz and their famous Proflip nordic goggles, but they also make excellent cycling eyewear also. We have spruced up our stock to reflect some of their best performance pieces as well as some fun and stylish casual glasses.
Here are some of our favorite glasses for functional, performance use (shown in order from left to right in the photo):
Tracker This is a very versatile piece that gets year-round use. Great for biking, running and skiing. Comes with multiple lenses, removable lower frame, hard case and a strap that can be used in place of the arms. Great function and value.
Hybrid previously known as the Velo model, this is one of our overall favorite cycling glasses, particularly for singletrack. The red multi lens works great for the mid level lighting conditions that we find among the woods of CAMBA country.
New this year the fresh and sporty Matrix, featuring a slick look with a taller lens that allows better visibility and coverage looking up the road or trail while in a lower, more aggressive riding position. We couldn’t help but have the yellow and purple option, it’s funktastic.
Tempo with a solid swappable lens and optional top frame which can be left off for a very trim look with maximum visibility
Look stylish after the ride with these crossover and casual glasses (also from left to right):
Luna Classic squared lens look, lightweight and high quality visibility that you’d expect from a Bliz set of glasses. Fits right in at most any patio, cafe or even fun casual rides.
Rider The most traditionally functional of the group, this is both equally at home on the trail or at the bar. Transition out of exercise without feeling too “geared up”.
Nitro Slightly bigger lens than the Rider, but with a similar level of crossover appeal. Add a little bit of rad into your life.
Targa Definitely the most style forward of the Bliz glasses. These play real nicely standing on top of a podium, confidently ordering a latte, or taking 5 on the set of your next big action flick. Need not be “too cool for school” to purchase, but these just might get you there.
