It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? A lot has happened since our last Ladies’ Night, but we are back and ready to have a fun evening with food, friends, and fun. This Saturday, Nov. 13th, at 5:30 pm, stop by the shop for a night dedicated to the ladies. All gals are welcome! We will have some refreshments, but if you’d like to bring a dish (or a beverage) to add to the selection, please feel free.
Ladies’ Night is part of our Customer Appreciation weekend—4 days of storewide savings of 10% and even up to 50% of select in-stock product. If you can’t make it for Ladies’ Night, or if you aren’t a lady (Lori this means you) you can still get the savings from Thursday through Sunday of this week.
For 2021, we decided to do something a bit different and have a wine tasting. Judging from the beverages you ladies have brought in over the years, we figured some of you appreciate a fine wine. One of our favorite customers and Fine Wine Manager from Saratoga Liquor, Tim Grenier will be showcasing a few wines he thought would be a good fit for our Ladies’ Night event. There will be red, white, and sparkling wines from Argentina, California, Italy, and New Zealand for sampling. Cheers!
This year, the response from our favorite brands has been so incredible! It was hard to pick Grand Prizes because even the door prizes are outstanding! Of course, we have everyone’s favorite socks, hats, gloves, and gaiters from Fits, Toko, and Icebug. We’ve got t-shirts from Alpina and Borealis. We’ve got some Gu and New Moon Water Bottles full of goodies. We’ve also got some bigger prizes, like ski and bike apparel from Craft and Louis Garneau, super-cool optics from Bliz, a ski bag from Salomon, and bike lights, boot dryers and merino scarves from QBP. Door Prizes are only available to folks at the shop, so make sure to sign up when you arrive and listen for your name throughout the evening.
There are also 8 Grand Prizes for you to take a chance on. You do not have to be present to win, so fill out a slip with your details and choose the prize that you would like the most. The drawing is usually around 7:30, but we will contact you if you are not here at that time.
Of course, there will be a New Moon Stone Grind available, as well as entries to the Pre-Birkie and Chequamegon MTB Festival. The American Birkebeiner has donated not only a Birkie Tour Entry, but the softest Birkie® hat and socks ever (a neck gaiter, too) all together in a Birkie® Bundle.

Finally, V2 has generously sent us a pair of XLC 920 Classic Roller Skis worth $400! New Moon has carried V2 products for over 25 years, and we are especially excited to set up one lucky winner with these excellent roller skis. XLC Roller Skis are the closest you can get to training on snow. They are the lightest in the line and the composite frame and shock-absorbing wheel forks are excellent at reducing vibration from the road.
So, what else can we say to convince you to attend Ladies’ Night? One more thing. We will be doing our best to stay safe on Ladies’ Night and all throughout Customer Appreciation Weekend. We will have our air exchanger on high, some windows open for fresh air, hand sanitizer will be abundant, and masks are preferred when not eating or drinking. Thanks for your cooperation.
